I'm Chad, the owner of Tillys Rise and Shine, and I've been in the hospitality industry for years. When I first reached out to Jerry at Behind You Hospitality, I honestly thought I just needed a website. I wanted a place where people could find our hours, see the menu, get directions, and learn a little about us.
What I didn't realize was how much more goes into having an online presence today.
You can tell pretty quickly that Jerry's decades of experience in the hospitality industry are a big part of what makes Behind You Hospitality different. He understands that hospitality isn't just restaurants. It's about how a business presents itself, how customers find you, how they interact with you, and ultimately how you turn that interaction into a customer. That experience really shows in the services his company provides for all kinds of businesses.
Jerry took the time to explain how people actually find businesses now, and how Google's different tools can work together to help bring people to your website without having to constantly pay for advertising. He also explained something I hadn't really thought about: people are increasingly asking AI tools questions the same way they used to search Google. Those AI systems are crawling websites and using the information they find to answer those questions. That means having a website that is actually built correctly and contains the right information matters a lot more than I realized.
What I appreciated most was that Jerry didn't just build us a website and hand us the keys. He explained what he was doing in terms I could actually understand and showed me why each piece mattered for getting found online.
Behind You Hospitality helped us think beyond just having a website. They helped us build an actual online presence, and they brought a hospitality mindset to the entire process.
If you're a business owner who thinks, "I just need a website," I'd recommend talking to Jerry first. There's a lot more to it than putting your menu, hours, or services online. Behind You Hospitality understands that hospitality is about the entire customer experience, and that mindset comes through in everything they do.
